A wonderful and engaging piece of writing!

Backing the adventure with experience. You have had enough practise in fair weather to know that you could handle the foul weather.

Fear can tie one up in knots, so it becomes difficult to set sail, in even the fairest of conditions. Blame the imagination that can paralyze. (Good directors know that if they leave certain scenes up to the imagination of the viewer, the fear that the viewer generates is far greater than anything that could be portrayed on film.)

It helps to have a professional move you out of the safety of the harbour and into the wind of change, by showing you that you do have strengths and abilities.
