Here are 10 reasons not to hire an executive resume writer.
1. You are overwhelmed with requests for interviews for that perfect, dream job.
2. Whenever you interview, the interviewer / recruiter, etc. comments how yours is the best resume they’ve ever seen, hands down.
3. Whenever you send your resume for that perfect job, you get a response for an interview.
4. You know exactly the type of role you want and specifically how to articulate 5 to 10 key achievements that demonstrate you can hit the ground running and provide measurable value in that role.
5. You’ve narrowed down your focus to one primary role, and when you send out your resume, you are confident your story is hitting ALL the high points of that target position description.
6. You understand how your soft leadership skills and bottom line skills connect, and you have communicated that in a differentiating way on your resume (where you don’t feel like yours is just a blob of keywords that sounds like every other resume).
7. You’ve told mini stories within your bigger career story that not only demonstrate you have achieved multimillions in revenue, but also how you went about doing that, including the people, processes or economic storms that you overcame and HOW you overcame them.
8. You’ve designed and written your resume using AI and feel that it represents the holistic, genuine you. Every word and phrase and story is nuanced to your unique value.
9. You have oodles of time and bandwidth to deal with a resume rewrite from blank page to conception to rich storied outcome.
10. You love your resume, and when you read it, it makes your heart sing!
