It took the not-so-gentle nudges from my dear husband, Rob to spark my interest in this book project, Poems of Hope: Inspiring Verse for Confidence and Joy, which is now for sale at Amazon, BarnesandNoble.com, Walmart.com, BookLocker.com and elsewhere.
While I write professionally for a living, I haven’t always excelled at achieving my creative writing dreams.
However, several years ago, Rob began suggesting that I compile my poetry musings into a book. Until that time, I’d been randomly publishing my poetry and prose on social media.
It sounded overwhelming to take on such an endeavor. But, with his unwavering belief in me and my poetry, I relented and began the slow process of compiling my odes into a Word document.
While I initially wrestled with overwhelm, over time, I found a rhythm and flow. Joy seeped into the journey and sun dissipated the foggy path ahead.

Fast forward, nearly 3 years later, and I had partnered with a book publisher and over the course of 4.5 months, finalized this very special “heart” project.
