3 Steps to Wrangle Down Years of Experience and Build an Executive Resume Foundation
1. Open a Word document + list ALL the positions you’ve ever held; include the overarching impact (and the metrics) for each role.
2. Review your most recent 7-10 years’ experience + list an additional 2 key achievements for each role.
3. Corral ALL the achievements you’ve listed + cull the top 5; put those on a separate document. Those will become your resume foundation. (Note: You should use your focus audience/industry/role to determine which 5 achievements to select.)
Voila! ^^ This is how to wrangle down YEARS of experience and create a solid foundation for your executive resume!
